OWNER / OPERATOR
Nancy Bakhtiar is owner and operator of Structura Body Therapies, Colorado Springs. She has been a massage therapist for 11 years, graduating from the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy in 2004. After working the majority of her adult career as an administrative office worker, and hearing and seeing the frustration friends, family and acquaintances were having with their medical care, she wanted to find an alternative to traditional health care options. She found that she had a natural ability for massage. Nancy has always been to committed to her clients and was always looking for ways to help in the best way possible.
Looking for a massage modality that would actually facilitate change to soft tissue to decrease dysfunction and chronic pain for clients. Nancy found Structural Integration, the bodywork modality that focuses on the soft tissue known as fascia. Then she came across the Structura Body Therapies opportunity and knew this was what she needed to bring to Colorado Springs.
Nancy loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, camping, and extreme Jeeping with her domestic partner Scott, whom she has been with for 20 years. She has a daughter, Sarah, who lives in California and her daughter, Raechel, who lives here in Colorado Springs, along with her 8 year-old grandson, Joseph.
